Die 2006 gegründeten Argovia Rebels pflegen das traditionelle Pfeifen und Trommeln, wie es in Neuengland USA auch heute noch gespielt wird. Das Corps präsentiert sich in historischen Kostümen. Der am Gurt befestigte Biermug ist das traditionelle Markenzeichen der Rebellen.
Die Formation setzt sich zusammen aus der "Colour Guard" (ein Voraustrupp), dem Drummajor, den Fifers, den Snare- und den Bassdrummers.
Gespielt werden bekannte amerikanische Melodien, Songs, die aus dem irischen, schottischen und englischen Volksraum überliefert wurden.
Die Musikantinnen und Musikanten spielen auf Holzinstrumenten dadurch entsteht dieser markante und mitreisende Sound welcher sich von allen anderen Tambouren- und Pfeifergruppen sehr stark unterscheidet.

The Argovia Rebels, founded in 2006, cultivate the traditional fife and drum as it is still played in New England USA. The corps presents itself in historical costumes. The beer mug attached to the belt is the traditional trademark of the Rebels.
The formation is composed of the color guard, the drum major, the fifers, the snare drummers and the bass drummers.
Played are well-known American melodies, songs handed down from the Irish, Scottish and English folk areas.
The musicians play on wooden instruments, which gives the band a distinctive and lively sound that is very different from all other drum and piper groups.
